Timage Abubakar is a Computer Science student at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is an active member of the ColorStack chapter and the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), where she supports initiatives that help underrepresented communities excel in tech. In her free time, she enjoys filming and design!

Yasemin Ates

LUISS Guido Carli University

Yasmin Ates is a CS student with a passion for puzzles, cryptography, and quantum computing. She is a cinema lover and occasional pianist.

Esperanza Baquedano

Montclair State University

Esperanza Baquedano is a proud first-generation Latina majoring in IT and Cybersecurity at Montclair State University. A former Amazon SDE intern and Undergraduate Research Assistant, she is active in tech clubs and serves as an ambassador for the Saturn and Amazon Future Engineer Program. A member of Rewriting the Code, WiCyS, and SIAM, Esperanza is driven by software development, innovation, and expanding access to engineering. She works to increase inclusivity in tech by expanding opportunities for women and underrepresented students.

Michelle Bartolotta

University of Delaware

Michelle Bartolotta studies Computer Science and Game Design as a junior at the University of Delaware. She leads as an Art Head for HenHacks Hackathon and previously interned as a Software Engineer at Liberty Mutual. Outside of academics, she enjoys drawing, hiking, and caring for animals.

Esmeralda Benitez

UC Berkeley

Esmeralda Benitez is a first-generation student from Compton, CA and the daughter of immigrant small business owners. Growing up working in her family’s shop taught her resilience and the value of hard work. Despite facing academic challenges, she found strength in supportive communities that helped her stay motivated. She is passionate about widening access to tech for marginalized communities, drawing from her own nontraditional path into the field.

Kaushiki Bhattacharyya

National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur

Kaushiki Bhattacharyya is a final-year Electronics and Communication Engineering student at NIT Jamshedpur and a Microsoft SDE Intern for Summer 2025. She love building cool things with web development and machine learning, and nothing excites her more than cracking a tricky problem with code. When she is not coding, she’s probably planning her next chess match, bingeing a thriller, or getting lost in a documentary about history’s best mysteries.

Daphne Blum

Western Governors University

Daphne Blum is a Computer Science student at Western Governors University exploring the intersection of AI, robotics, and space exploration. As a NASA L’SPACE alum and Harvard WECode Tech Fellow, she aims to bridge creativity and technology to make intelligent systems more accessible and human-centered. Daphne is passionate about empowering women, people of color, and non traditional students in tech.

Jimeah Clariz Buyao

California State University, Fresno

Jimeah is a Computer Science student interested in data science, software engineering and quantum computing. She works part-time with Special Olympics Northern California and, while pursuing a Deaf Studies minor, prioritizes accessibility and inclusivity in every space she’s part of. Her experience spans static web development and data entry/analytics. She stays busy with personal projects in her free time, and she's active on campus as a collegiate pickleball athlete and team social media manager.

Jewell Callahan

University of Central Arkansas

Jewell Callahan is an active member in her community, with a focus on bringing a welcoming environment to STEM fields in central Arkansas. Through her experience in Girls who Code, Feminist Union, Student Government, Computer Science and Cybersecurity Clubs, and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers - she ensures everyone starts their journey with tech on equal footing, no matter their financial, ethnic, or technical background.

Vannessa Chan

Rutgers University New Brunswick

Vannessa is a junior in Computer & Cognitive Science at Rutgers! She is extremely passionate about the film tech industry and diversifying the stories and faces we see in the media. Outside of academics, she enjoy art, dancing, and the outdoors! She’s so excited to work with WECode to empower as many communities as possible, and meet people who are just as driven to spark change in our world!

Elizabeth Chanda

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill

Elizabeth Chanda, a Vietnamese + Laotian woman from NC, is pursuing Computer Science with an Applied Sciences and Engineering minor at UNC-CH. As she pursues becoming a software/full-stack/data engineer, she is focused on helping many communities by combining technology with advocacy. For her hobbies and interests, she enjoys sketching (anything artsy!), video game development, music (production, analysis, electric guitar), sports + exercise, legos, crocheting, being a food enthusiast, reading, and inventing side projects (software + hardware).

Arundhati Chaudhuri

KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar

Arundhati Chaudhuri, a CS undergrad who writes code, takes photos, builds meaningful projects, and occasionally remembers to sleep. She enjoys using technology to make life a little kinder, for people and for the planet. She’s currently exploring ML and analytics.

Gopika Chauhan

IIT Mandi

Gopika Chauhan is a Computer Science student at IIT Mandi, passionate about building tech for social good. She is the creator of NeuroSaarthi, an AR and GenAI-powered app promoting neurodiversity awareness in India. She explores the intersection of AI, accessibility, and impact. Gopika aims to design inclusive technologies that foster empathy, equity, and meaningful human connection.

Adelina Chocho

Quinnipiac University

Adelina is in her third year studying Computer Science and Cybersecurity. She serves as president of Girls Who Code at Quinnipiac, where she leads coding sessions to inspire young women to explore coding. She hopes to begin a career in cybersecurity with an interest in networking and systems security. She also enjoys reading mystery novels and practicing crocheting in her free time!

Julie Chung

Brown University

Julie Chung is a senior at Brown University studying Computer Science, focusing in Computer Networks and Computer Systems. Outside of developing new projects or running experiments, she is on stage or behind a mixing board, working on theater and music projects.

Auiana D’Avilar

Hampton University

Auiana D'Avilar is a graduating senior studying cybersecurity on the criminal justice track. This is her second year as a Tech Fellow and will be her third time attending the WECode conference. She is interested in cyber law and policy, counterterrorism, and digital forensics. After graduation, Auiana will begin her full-time career as a Cyber Analyst at Deloitte. Outside of academics, she enjoys dancing, running, going to the beach, and snowboarding.

Maria Victoria Davila

Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology

Maria Victoria Davila is an IT and Cybersecurity student at Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute of Technology and an IT Security Intern at Arbella Insurance. She focuses on vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response. As the founder and president of her college’s Cyber Club, she’s passionate about creating opportunities for others in tech, fostering community, and driving innovation through collaboration and continuous learning.

Maria is a third-year Computer Science and Statistics major from Cochabamba, Bolivia. She is passionate about data science and machine learning and is currently part of Cornell’s Break Through Tech program. Maria enjoys exploring new ideas, meeting new people, and taking on collaborative projects. Outside of academics, she loves cooking and trying new recipes.

Alexis Detorres

University of Houston

Alexis Detorres is a Management Information Systems student at the University of Houston with a minor in Graphic Communications Technology. She has experience in digital consulting, web content strategy, and UX-focused digital projects. Alexis has contributed to her university as an ambassador and a membership director officer. She is passionate about digital strategy, user experience, and building technology solutions that all users can be happy with!

Carlie Dore

State University of New York at New Paltz

Carlie Dore is a rising tech leader from the Bronx who is driven to challenge barriers and elevate representation for Black women in STEM. After nearly two years leading her NSBE chapter, she continues to build community and create opportunity. As a new Harvard WECode Tech Fellow and incoming IBM intern, Carlie is expanding her leadership and technical impact, proving that where you start never limits where you can go.

Morgan Farrell

Pace University

Morgan Farrell is a first-year Computer Science student at Pace University with aspirations of becoming a cybersecurity analyst. Passionate about technology and representation, she strives to make an impact in the tech industry and inspire young Black girls who share her interests. Morgan is dedicated to using her skills to promote innovation, security, and inclusivity in the tech world.

Lauren Frank

Washburn University

Lauren Frank is a senior at Washburn University studying Computer Science, Physics, and Spanish. As president of her Girls Who Code College Loop, she loves building community through technology and creativity. Outside of school, Lauren enjoys crafting, cooking, and learning new skills through YouTube tutorials. She’s passionate about using technology and creativity together to make a positive impact and inspire others in STEM.

May is a freshman at Brown University from Tokyo, Japan. With an interest in HCI and human-centered design, she plans to study Design Engineering and Computer Science as complementary ways to create technology that genuinely serves people and communities. In her free time, she enjoys playing games, listening to music, and having philosophical discussions with her friends.

Julia Huth

University of Michigan

Julia is a junior at the University of Michigan studying Computer Science with minors in Entrepreneurship and Business through the Ross School of Business. She is passionate about growing the number of women in technology, as an alumna of Girls Who Code and Kode With Klossy, where she served as a Web Development Instructor for international scholars. Julia is also dedicated to service, serving on youth advisory boards for the Riley’s Way and Henrik Lundqvist Foundations.

The first in her family to study abroad, she believes technology is more than a tool; it is a bridge that connects people and possibilities. When she’s not lost in a book, she’s coding, building bridges across communities, and empowering women in tech.

Saanvi Jaswal is a freshman studying Computer Science at the Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ. Hdf interests include Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology, and Product/Project Management. In the future, she hope to pursue innovation in technology. She is honored to be a Technology Fellow for Harvard WECode 2026 and she cannot wait to meet a diverse pool of talented women at this upcoming conference. She hopes to see you there!

An aspiring engineer passionate about pursuing her career in computer science, she is driven to contribute to ethical, innovative technology. She employs adaptability, collaboration, and leadership, and continuously expands her skills through coursework and hands-on projects. Sherren Jie is a senior at Brandeis University studying Computer Science. She is the founder of her campus Girls Who Code chapter, where she works to build a safe and empowering space for women in tech. A passionate mobile app developer, she has launched several apps on the App Store. Outside of tech, Sherren loves reading, baking, and discovering new places.

Elizabeth Johnson is a senior at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, majoring in Computer Science. She is interested in software engineering and design. She is passionate about building technology that’s accessible to everyone and using technology to make a positive impact on society. LaDonna Kalala is an international student from Zambia currently studying at Grambling State University in Louisiana. As a Mathematics & Physics major with an interest in Computer Science, she hopes to pursue a career in Quant Consulting. Her hobbies include baking, reading and writing fiction, photography, microblogging, watching tons of movies and series, and anything to do with sociology and the human condition.

Jahnavi Khosla is a final-year student at the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) and an upcoming Software Engineer at Google, passionate about blending technology, design thinking, and innovation. Having been a mentee under companies like The D. E. Shaw Group and Texas Instruments, and an intern at Google, she’s dedicated to creating human-centered, impactful tech. Sanjina Kumari is an Economics and Computer Science student at Pacific Lutheran University engaged in AI/ML research across two undergraduate projects. She has experience as a program management intern and is passionate about data, product thinking, sustainability and technology for social good. She co-founded Hunarwar to support artisans in rural Pakistan and remains active in women-in-tech organizations, working toward a future career in data and product.

Nataly Lopez is a UC Berkeley undergraduate majoring in Cognitive Science with a focus on data-driven research. She has contributed to healthcare market analysis at Datack Inc., using UX design and analytical methods to inform insights. As a research assistant at Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute, she supports cognition-focused neuroimaging studies. Motivated by technology, public service, and business, Nataly seeks to expand expertise in data science applications, international relations, and innovative research bridging STEM and policy domains.

Zaynah Mahmood is a final-year B.Tech student and global tech innovator who led her team to win the UN COP28 Hackathon among 1,000+ teams worldwide. A McKinsey Forward Fellow, GHCI Scholar, and SheFi Scholar, she has worked with Tata CLiQ’s Product Strategy team and multiple startup programs. Passionate about AI, sustainability, and women in tech, Zaynah is also an avid painter and reader who values creativity and meaningful impact.

Mirada Makmutova

Mirada is a sophomore majoring in Computer Science at Simmons University in Boston. Originally from Kazakhstan, she is passionate about AI and coding and enjoys exploring how technology can solve real-world problems. Outside academics, she loves skiing, hiking, traveling, listening to music, and playing the piano.

Maya McCabe

Simmons University

Maya is a biochemistry major and prospective biomedical engineering major at Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts. Her passion is to study how technology and engineering can be used to improve neurosurgery, imaging, and the study of the brain. Outside of science, she is passionate about music, currently a violinist in the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, where she performs at Boston Symphony Hall and go on world tours every summer.

Christina Mekheil

Central Piedmont Community College / Coastline College

Christina Mekheil is a curious student with a passion for programming, cybersecurity, and all things tech. She recently earned her AAS in Information Technology – Full Stack Programming and is now pursuing a two-year transfer degree while enrolled in a cybersecurity workforce program. When she’s not foraging for wild edible mushrooms or working on new projects, Christina enjoys spending time with her cat, Anubis (Nunu for short).

Swasti Mishra

Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad

Swasti Mishra is a third-year B.Tech student in Electronics and Communication Engineering at IIT ISM Dhanbad. She is passionate about software development, AI, and system design, and has been selected for prestigious programs including Google’s Women Engineers Program, the D. E. Shaw DESIS Ascend Educare Program, and NXP’s Women in Technology initiative. Swasti actively builds impactful tech projects and aims to create innovative solutions that empower users at scale.

Sofia Mitsuyuki de Menezes

University of South Florida

Sofia Mitsuyuki is a junior Computer Engineering student at the University of South Florida and the Outreach Chair for the IEEE Computer Society Chapter at USF. She works as a Software Engineer Intern at Wealth.com and serves as a full-stack developer for the Judy Genshaft Honors College. A dedicated leader and multidisciplinary creator, she also performs with the Honors Choir. Originally from Brazil, Sofia brings technical skill and creativity to every project.

Harleen Monder

Harleen Monder is a first-year Computer Science and Scholar’s Electives student at Western University driven by a passion for tech, design, and equity. She leads tech initiatives for Women in Science and builds innovative projects with Western Developers Society. A Kode With Klossy and Girls Who Code alum, Harleen is passionate about AI, accessibility, and creating opportunities that help diverse innovators thrive in technology.

Chanrattnak Mong

Chanrattnak Mong is a Computer Science senior and a product-focused engineer passionate about creating innovative, user-centered technologies. Originally from Cambodia, she has witnessed the rapid growth of technology worldwide and is eager to immerse herself in the U.S. tech industry. Nak aspires to become a visionary tech founder and hopes to connect with inspiring women in tech while empowering others to build products that drive meaningful change through WECode.

Tessy Mugisha

Oklahoma Christian University

Tessy Pauline Mugisha is a Rwandan software engineer and storyteller studying Computer Science and AI at Oklahoma Christian University. She founded Entry. One to amplify honest career stories and remind students/early career professionals that growth is rarely perfect but always worth it. Driven by curiosity and community, Tessy believes in doing one hard thing a day, creating space for others, and building technology that reimagines what’s possible.

Nyamsuren Narantsogt

Nyamsuren Narantsogt is a senior at the University of Illinois Chicago majoring in Information and Decision Sciences and Computer Science. She is passionate about data storytelling, artificial intelligence, and exploring innovative ways to connect design and data. As a Tech Fellow Committee member, she is dedicated to empowering women in tech and fostering an inclusive community that celebrates innovation and creativity.

Lena Ngo is a sophomore at Hunter College studying Computer Science in the Daedalus Honors Program. With a background in the creative sector, she loves finding new ways to combine technology and design to bring ideas to life. Passionate about problem-solving, Lena enjoys creating projects that make a difference. Winnie Nna

Northwestern University

Winnie Nna is a Computer Science major at Northwestern University interested in machine learning and human-centered software. She enjoys turning real-world problems—especially around education access and community wellbeing—into practical tools. Winnie has worked on projects ranging from crisis-language detection models to web apps for student productivity and community gardens. She’s excited to keep learning from mentors and peers while building technology that makes it easier for people to learn, grow, and feel supported.

Tashia Nyamunama

Tashia Nyamunama is a Computer Science and Global Health double major with a minor in Economics at Oberlin College. She is passionate about using technology for social impact and has experience in data analytics, automation, and sustainable innovation, with projects spanning cloud systems, finance, and renewable energy. Tashia also enjoys public speaking and collaborative problem-solving that bridges technology and community development. Beyond academics, she loves traveling, dancing, and cooking.

She is a skilled Frontend Developer with over two years of experience. She specializes in React, Next.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript. She excels at turning complex designs into functional and fast web applications. She aims to use scalable tech solutions to provide quality resources and help reduce the digital divide, especially for women and underserved youth in Nigeria.

America Pacheco

Oregon State University

America is a first-generation Latina pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science Applied to Business at Oregon State University. She works as a Software Product Manager, combining technical expertise with creative vision to design user-centered solutions. Inspired by her journey from a small rural town to a leader in tech, America is passionate about empowering underrepresented communities through technology and leadership. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her dog Luffy.

Glenvelis is a senior at Smith College majoring in Computer Science and Statistical & Data Science. She is extremely passionate about advocating for accessibility in tech and fostering supportive environments for Latinas. In her free time, you can find her baking, dancing, going on adventures (often with friends or family), or trying to learn a new language. Thu is a CS and Economics student at the University of Pennsylvania exploring how AI can broaden access to learning and opportunity. She is involved in TEDxPenn and youth initiatives in Vietnam, and is happiest with an iced-coffee in hand!

Northwestern University

Cam Portland is a Computer Science and Cognitive Science student at Northwestern University. As a peer mentor and student researcher, Cam supports new programmers and contributes to AI innovation through the C3 Lab. Her work includes developing an AI avatar kiosk and co-authoring a white paper for the Grace Hopper Conference. Cam is passionate about the intersection of technology and human behavior, with a strong interest in digital transformation and user-centered design.

Mahima Ragupathi

Mahima Ragupathi is a second-year Computer Science major with minors in Data Science and Business Administration at Rutgers University. She is passionate about using technology and data-driven solutions to create positive social impact and enjoys mentoring peers. Outside of academics, she expresses her creativity through painting and Indian classical dance. Always eager to connect and learn from others, she is very excited to join the WECode community!

Keyah Raje

Keyah Raje is a Computer Science major and Quantitative Finance minor at Stevens Institute of Technology and loves blending creativity with tech. She’s a Honors Program Pinnacle Scholar Advisor, Resident Assistant, and front-end developer in the Software Engineering Club, as well as an active member of Stevens Women in Computer Science. Beyond campus, Keyah models professionally and loves exploring new matcha and food spots. She enjoys connecting with her peers and is always looking forward to learning new things!

Anupa Ranabhat

A true Ravenclaw spirit, Anupa is a curious and creative learner. An engineering student with a growing interest in cloud computing, she enjoys exploring the logical and technical side of things. She expresses her creativity through UI/UX design, sketching, painting, dancing, and crocheting. In her free time, you'll find her in her cozy corner with a fictional novel. You'll see her everywhere, trying every new thing you can think of.

Anisha is a Computer Science student with interests in specific fields like machine learning and quantum computing. Throughout her journey, she has been involved in many clubs and initiatives to get women better integrated into the tech industry and create more inclusive spaces. She hopes to uplift other women, learn from shared experiences, and connect with more like-minded people in the tech community.

Danielle Robinson is a senior computer science student with a concentration in cybersecurity and a minor in mathematics at Tennessee State University from Chicago, IL. She has a strong passion for technology, with hands-on experience gained through various courses and internships, her most recent being at Bank of America. She aspires to become a cybersecurity analyst, focusing on protecting systems and solving complex problems. Danielle is excited and looks forward to connecting with other women who share her passion for technology at WECode.

Kenia Roman Ortiz

Kenia Roman Ortiz is a 3rd year Mathematics and Computer Science student at UC San Diego looking to specialize in software engineering. She brings industry experience as a Full-Stack Software Developer Intern, Computer Technician Lead, and in conducting bioinformatics research. Sherlyn Saavedra

Sherlyn Saavedra is a junior and first-generation student at Amherst College, majoring in computer science. Sherlyn aspires to be a woman in computer science, breaking barriers and using her education to teach other underrepresented minorities the great power technology holds. Outside of academics, Sherlyn enjoys learning communicative languages, producing music, and cooking.

Minal Sabir

New York University

Minal Sabir is a sophomore studying computer science at NYU, originally from Long Island, New York. She is currently a Software Engineer Intern at Mount Sinai Health System and hopes to pursue a career as a software engineer. Outside the classroom, she loves exploring New York City and discovering cozy cafes!

Aarushi Sharma

University of California, Santa Cruz

Aarushi Sharma is a first-year Computer Engineering student from the Bay Area, California. She’s passionate about using technology for social good, leveraging AI to solve pressing social and healthcare challenges. Aarushi founded and led a female-majority STEM club to empower underrepresented students in tech and is currently developing a caregiver platform that promotes accessibility for visually impaired users. Beyond tech, she’s a mehndi artist who expresses creativity through cultural connection and community.

Pragya Singh

Pragya Singh enjoys exploring and experimenting with different technologies from web3 to ML pretty much everything. She is a 3x hackathon finalist and hold multiple positions of responsibilities among various tech communities. She also enjoys competitive programming and photography. She is really glad to join the WECode team and excited to work with them.

Kathy Sun

Brown University

Kathy is a Brown University sophomore working at the intersection of technology and healthcare. With experience in bioinformatics and product management, she aims to enhance the human experience through technology. A nationally competitive artistic swimmer, speech/debate enthusiast, and graphic designer, Kathy thrives when chasing her interests. Outside of class, she can be found painting or learning a new language. She is excited to be back for a second year as a tech fellow!

Soja Sunny

CUNY Queens College

Soja is a senior at Queens College, majoring in Computer Science with minors in Business and Liberal Arts. She is currently interning at UBIQ, a startup, and serves as President of the Girls Who Code chapter and Marketing Lead for ColorStack, where she promotes diversity and inclusion in tech. Soja is passionate about using technology and creativity to empower underrepresented communities and inspire the next generation of women in computing.

Yanet Niguse Tesfay

Yanet Niguse Tesfay is a Software Engineering student at USIU–Africa and an AI/ML researcher passionate about sustainable agriculture, food security, and climate resilience. She has presented her work at international conferences and published research on AI-driven farming and language translation systems. A Generation Google Scholar, Mastercard Scholar, and Millennium Fellow 2024, Yanet is the founder of BreakFree Initiative, which empowers women and youth through digital literacy. She strives to build inclusive, socially impactful AI solutions for underserved communities.

Priya Venkatesan

UC Berkeley

Priya Venkatesan is a product designer who enjoys making complex systems intuitive and accessible. Currently studying Cognitive Science and Data Science at UC Berkeley, she's built AI-powered tools for 50,000+ students and contributed to platforms serving hundreds of thousands of users. Drawing on her background in biochemical research, she specializes in translating technical complexity into seamless user experiences, from healthcare interfaces to social impact platforms.

Akinahom Wabella

Minnesota State University, Mankato

Akinahom Wabella is a Statistics and Computer Science student at Minnesota State University, Mankato, passionate about building human-centered and ethical AI systems. As a Harvard WECode Tech Fellow and student leader in ColorStack and NSBE, she works to expand access to technology and mentorship for underrepresented students. Her research and projects explore fairness-aware machine learning and neuro-inspired AI, with a focus on creating compassionate technologies that empower communication and inclusion.

Mariah Williams

Prairie View A&M University

Mariah Williams is a senior Computer Science major at Prairie View A&M University who is passionate about blending technology and creativity through front-end development and UX design. Dedicated to fostering inclusion, she founded and serves as president of Girls Who Code on campus, where she empowers underrepresented communities and works to bridge the diversity gap in tech. Outside of her academic and leadership roles, Mariah enjoys traveling, visiting museums, and hosting Bible study nights with friends.

Misrak Woldu

Misrak Woldu is a Computer Science student at Portland State University and the President of Girls Who Code College Loop. Originally from Ethiopia, she’s passionate about empowering women in technology, integrating AI and social impact. Misrak hopes to use technology to connect communities and inspire more young women to pursue STEM.

Wen Min Yap

Monash University Malaysia

Wen Min is the founder and CEO of Blurp.ie. She also actively engages in spaces where women remain underrrepresented. She previously served as Vice President of the Computer Club and President of the Taekwondo Club. She is also the gold medalist for International Mathematical Olympiad National Selection Test and International Junior Cybersecurity Olympiad. She aims to encourage more women to lead in places where they are often overlooked.

Annie Zhang

UC Berkeley

Annie Zhang is an EECS junior at UC Berkeley researching AI-driven hardware design in the Berkeley SLICE Lab. Her work spans RISC-V processor development, FPGA systems, software development and machine learning for microarchitectural performance prediction. Annie is passionate about the intersection of algorithms and silicon, aspiring to create efficient hardware for AI acceleration.
