We are thrilled to be hosting the 12th edition of the WECode conference, designed for undergraduate women and non-binary people passionate about STEM. Taking place at Harvard University on February 21st-22nd, 2026, WECode is both a space to hear from ground-breaking professionals, as well as an opportunity to connect members of the tech community. This year, we are excited to dissect what it means to go “Beyond the Frame” and be audacious within the tech industry. From our keynote speaker events featuring pioneers to our panels focused on important topics like ethics, to our more intimate offerings like mentorship circles, WECode is a space for deep engagement. We are looking forward to meeting you on the 21st and hearing your story.

Conference At A Glance

  • Career Expo

    Our Career Expo provides attendees with the opportunity to engage with representatives from technology companies and organizations, enabling them to gain key insights into the industry, gain exposure to different careers, and create valuable connections to advance in their careers. 


  • Mentorship Circles

    Our WECode Mentorship Program enables students to engage professionals in technology in a small group setting, providing them with the opportunity to deeply connect with technology professionals and ask questions that they might not be able to ask in larger event settings.

  • Keynote Speakers

    Our keynote speakers are trailblazers in the world of technology and are carefully selected to really set the tone for the weekend. This year, we are excited to bring speakers who embody what it means to go beyond the frame within the tech industry.

    During our engagement block, we host tech demos where attendees can learn more about technology products. Come observe companies showcase their technologies in interactive sessions!

  • Project Exhibitions

    Have a project idea that you are passionate about and have worked on? Want to learn more about what other students are interested in? Stop by the project exhibition to present your own work science fair style or make a new friend.

Keynote Speakers

Francoise Brougher

Pebl CEO and Former Executive at Pinterest and Google

Francoise Brougher serves as Chief Executive Officer of Pebl and is responsible for leading the company’s vision, strategy, and execution. Francoise has over 25 years of leadership experience in strategy, business, and operations at industry-leading technology disruptors, including Google, Square, and Pinterest, where she led multithousand-person global organizations responsible for multibillion-dollar sales and operations revenue. Most recently, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Pinterest, where she grew revenue from $500 million to $1.1 billion, expanded operations to 20 countries, and helped take the company public in two years. Francoise is a sought-after board member and was appointed to Pebl’s board of directors in 2022. She lives with her family in Silicon Valley, happily graduating from swim mom, ski mom, and soccer mom to dog mom in the last couple of years.

Sylvia is a Chartered Financial Analyst with more than 30 years of industry experience. Prior to Ellevest, she founded SimplySmart Asset Management and held senior portfolio management positions at Financial Engines and Charles Schwab. Sylvia serves on the Board of Exit 182, the investment committee that oversees the endowment of Grinnell College.

Bren Professor of Geochemistry and Planetary Science and Former Vice President of Caltech

Laurie Leshin

Laurie Leshin is Bren Professor of Geochemistry and Planetary Science at Caltech. She has extensive leadership experience in academia and government with a focus on unleashing organizations to make their greatest impact. Leshin was director of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2022-2025 and president of Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 2014-2022. She was also the former Vice President of Caltech, the first woman to ever serve in the position.
